For Whom Freedom?

Do you know your history the story of your people,can you tell me who you are and about your family?
So many now are searching and yet still do not understand,what from my people was taken and why it is so sad.
Have you ever heard the real truth or still believe the lies,it is told columbus found us,how could he was the one that was lost?
History in this land did not begin with the white man,this was our world for thousands of years before we ever heard of them.
They came here in their little boats filthy,sick,and starving,my ancestors gave them help and how did they repay them?
Our love,care,and respect for the land they could not understand,to them it was for using they called us evil for loving her as our Mother Earth.
We too believe there is only one Creator,but because we loved and honored all living spirits they called us red devils.
Look around you people at all the bad things in this land,there is no respect for anything the Circle is out of balance.
No one cares for Mother Earth,Father Sky is full of posion,the water is not safe to drink the animals are dying.
Children are mistreated,left to raise themselves,grandmothers and aunties are all much too busy with themselves.
Where are the uncles whose duty it is to teach them,there are no families left to guide them,is it any wonder that they are commiting suicide?
There is no caring,sharing,no love for anything,no laws that are lived by and truely enforced by living.
So now my friends read your laws and declarations,in your language they are only words not one of you lives by them.
Freedom seems to mean to you only for certian people,only those you pick and choose for others you change them.
My peoples words meant just what they said our honesty was used against us,because we did what was right and good you thought that we were stupi.
So read your own history books and see the lies within them,then tell me if you dare which people were truely evil?
