History?

History told by one side only has led the generations,so many lies and mistakes too many bad excuses.
When will it stop and the truth be told our lives justified,the time has come for all to know we had a right to be angry.
I will not listen to the lies and hold my tongue silent,if I must pay the price it will be for truth told of my ancestors.
Honoe,courage,and respect were the lessons taught to me,pride in who and what I am and those I came from.
No more will I hide in shame but stand my ground and fight,with words of truth if they let me but there is no price to high.
Tsalagi is what I am,Turtle Island is my home,my kin have fought and died here since time before time.
My grandmothers stories will guide my life forever,handed through the ages by grandmothers beyond counting.
