Simple Life!

What now people have you lost when you turn your own away,greed and envy rule your lives roots torn out will not grow back.
Your own children you let suffer living like the whites,you have forgotten the Elders teachings and reach instead for their lives.
Generations of my people stood to fight side by side,now a few make decisions do they not know what they have lost?
Grandmothers stories saved for ages heritage rich with pride,what have you let the white mans gold buy from you?
Turn back now while there is time turn back people do what is right,in this time of high learning who remembers the simple life?
Teach the old ways we all ned them respectful care of Mother Earth,only we know how to do it the growing of our own food.
Can you live without lights and running water,can you survive without packaged foods and gasoline?
Will you help your fallen brothers or pass them by without a care,will you help us gather to tend the Clans ourselves?
My People if we work together we can pass any test,we still have the Elders knowlege dig deep inside and bring it out.
We can no longer depend on our leaders the white man guards himself,we must be prepared to protect our families ourselves!
