Grandmother made me promise oh,so long ago I would tell her stories everywhere I go,told by her grandmother they are my heritage some so old only memories remain.
Handed down for generations they are our golden rules given by Creator,before He scattered His children to the Four Winds.
Each story teller gave a sacred oath they would teach each generatyion what they need to know.
Lessons about Mother Earth and what she needs to keep the balance,honor and respect given to all the spirits.
Stories about the web of life and how these things are woven,Creator made everything to follow a great Circle.
How we came to be here on Turtle Island,the way that we should live,what the purpose of each thing is and our place within it.
If we do not honor the lives of our ancestors,then we forget our places and what we need to give,then our world can not go on and we will surely lose it!
